Very Little Response to the "ANNA Movement" Baba Ramdev saves the Day! This is the Media Version! And I second it despite I support the Movement! This Post which Analyzed the failure of the Movement in Mumbai! Im sure this little known suggestions would not have reached the destination! Some of the Points highlighted after the failure in MMRDA which I though I need to expand upon

Many of us feel betrayed let down by the very little response did ANNA manage to evoke on Mumbaikers. This does does not reflect any way negativity on the ANNA or does it reflect the attitude of Mumbaikers. The Media and the Congress having a field day on the lack of response. The so called eminent personalities like Vinnoth mehtha, Shoba Dey, Sanjay Jha and a goon from Shiv sena were on the height of celebrations in the TV anchor room when difficult questions were posed to the ANNA team. Any guess why was this change in by the people, media and the so called eminent pesonality. There are quite a few deliberations which needs to be considered.
There is no second opinion without ANNA movement Lokpal would not have even entered the lobby of Parliament. BJP need to thank ANNA for getting back its lost space. The earlier movement was so huge it brought down the Govt to its knees and forced to take up into the Parliament.
Having said there are few humble suggestions here what could be done or could have been avoided
Time is in our hands, Gone are the days of Political Diktat. We have 2 full years we strengthen our movement with innovative ideas and roadshows come 2014 we would show the Congress way out.

- Communication - Mass communication is an Art! It either reaches the MASS and Galvanizes or it decimates itself en route before reaching the destination! Some of the blunders which the Tean along with ANNA did was nothing but digging the grave for the Movement!
- COngress- Im one of the Worst Critic of Congress and I dont mind stooping low to discredit as it does not affect my blog hits or tweet hits! People who does not find my Opinion on Par they just Unfollow Me! By loosing followers I do not care a damn as Im no Swamy depending on the Virtual Followers! What I do is for Passion! Thats not the case with ANNA Movement! I put it very Strongly that ANNA should not target Congress alone rather target Corruption! As that would only sharply divide the Opinion of the Middle class who are great exponent of reading everything between Letters! This would amount to Speculation that ANNA is supporting "A" Party! Had mentioned this would backfire! And precisely that is what happened!
- Transparency - One of the Most Integral Part of Public Movement! Im no way saying ANNA team is dishonest or they have their own Agenda! But what they lacked was Transparency to the Public Domain on various Issue within! After a fortnight ANNA accepted that he had a meeting with Salman Kursheed! The Media as described in Analysis I is a whore House it would decimate you into bits and pieces if you ever put the wrong foot! TRP for them is more Important!
- Finally ANNA has today (28/7/2012) acknowledges that he would not Target President and the other 14 Members if Lokpal is brought in! It only shows the Intent is honest but lack of Vision that makes this Movement very Slick!
In the coming days we might see this Movement further declining from the Public Perception! Unless they give them-self a break and regroup! They know pretty well Congress and BJP are not keen ( Arun Jaitley double speak which was exposed , having closed door meeting with Congress on the Select Committee), Excepting the left None of the Parties would see most of the leaders behind bars!
My suggestion to ANNA is keep Organizing Awareness on Corruption call off your Fast and Agitation! Wait for the 2014 or even earlier! Play your Cards close to your chest! Never be Political! Get your Logical and Moral Assumptions right on track! Back the Right Candidates ( cutting across Party lines) or Field your Candidates let the People give their Mandate!

There is no second opinion without ANNA movement Lokpal would not have even entered the lobby of Parliament. BJP need to thank ANNA for getting back its lost space. The earlier movement was so huge it brought down the Govt to its knees and forced to take up into the Parliament.
Having said there are few humble suggestions here what could be done or could have been avoided
- Fasting is a movement which has its own up and down depending on the demography of the region
- Team ANNA should have brought in professionals to test the waters in Mumbai as ANNA has along history with both Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena
- Communication is an integral part of any Party or a team. This a social movement when messages are conveyed either to the press or electronic media words need to be carefully formulated. We found many a times Ms Kiran Bedi whom I have great respect was too emotional or aggressive this only gives an impression that she wanted to be authoritative which would not go well in Male chauvinistic India . She had been repeatedly targeted for her speech. Team could have had one centralized Spokesperson for effective communication. Though I am a strong critic of Congress when Mr Salman Kurshid speaks about any opposition he weighs his words and politely rebuts the theory I wish Anna could have taken a leaf out of the book.
- Never always forecast your target that's a simple thumb rule in any marketing. Always project your expected numbers to 1/2 or even 1/4th this not only would save our skin sometimes but also value add in case if our projected target exceeds.
- Media is a like a whore house whoever pays the most it articulates their point of view. ALways have a safe distance never come on every channel every day. These media play you day in and day out and make you stale. They are not bothered about our movement they are more worried about TRP and debate that centralizes our failure.
- Core committee should be transparent to fill in details with the current affairs and its consequence.
- The moment ANNA announced his fasting in MMRDA parliament was rescheduled for the same day taking away the viewership. This should have been thought of, wonder what was Ms Kiran good office useful for.
- Though this movement is for a good cause there are few who have their own agenda ( NGO) they should have tagged on.
- There was nothing wrong in calling off the fast/ Jail baro in fact that was abrave move to make.
- Now the movement has taken a shape people still have faith in credibity of ANNA and its team they need to take it to the next stage.
