Mamtas testin Congress time and Again

It all started on the 13th night when Dr Manmohan Singh was snubbed by Mamta by not sending any of her high profile Ministers for the dinner hoisted by PM. Ms Mamta was clearly drawing the line when she came out for ammendments on the Presidential speech for imposing NCTC on the States which was discarded on technical grounds though . Barely  15 hrs later when Mr Dinesh Trivedi the minister for Railways presented the Railway budget ( in which he proposed increase in fares cutting across all class) , no sooner he was finished with the budget the MP's of his own party forcing two options on Trivedi either roll back or quit and these warnings coming straight from Mamta. Little do we understand the complex politics involved when it comes to Ms. Mamta though on the periphery of this budget it seems Trivedi really wanted to straighten up the railways. He was quoted as saying he discharged his duty on National Interest and he dosent mind loosing his Job. 


Not many would have thought the railway budget would bring in chaos in UPA so it has started snowballing on the Issue that were least expected then the following Bills can be witnessing some heartbreaking twists and turns to the Congress led Govt  and wonder how are they gonna cope up with it

Late hours Mamta forced the central Govt to convey an emergency meeting to handle the crisis. The crisis being Dinesh Trivedi to be sacked from Railway Minister and be replaced by Mr Mukul Roy (who was the original contender for this Post though Mr Manmohan Singh lobbied for Mr Trivedi). Though this decision was accepted by the PM but little he could do on the roll back as the budget presented now technically belongs to the house. Even if Mr Mukul who might assume office today, needs to be seen whether he would be in a position for a revise budget (technically if it is possible) else PM might concede in a certain partial roll back on the lower class fare. Whatever said and and done PM and his cabinet are gonna have sleepless nights in the days to come. 
Though the Ammedments by TMC was grounded oin Loksabkha the same has been accepted in Rajyasabha. BJP is also likely to take up the ammendments, As though the Problems arent enough DMK has given an warning to the central GOvt on a possible withdrawal of its 4 Ministers if the Govt do not plan along with US on censuring the Srilanka. Govt is in a fix on both of its allies. Though many feel Congress had enough with Mamta and Engineering a split in TMC by openly flaunting with Trivedi, in that case it would be blessing in disguise for BJP as both Congress and Mamta who enjoyed the power so long needs to take along with them the Anti Incumbency Tag.


Coming days the the Congress needs more Parliamentary Affairs Ministers and Crisis Managers to handle neverending problems surrounding the UPA-2, Is there a likely realignment   to have UPA-3 one needs to wait and watch else Dr Quereshi will be called in for another long haul action.
