Aug 2016 - Chotta Rajan who was Produced before a Special Court wrt "Fake Passport" deposed before the Special Judge stated "Provided fake Passport in the name of "Mohan Kumar" by the Indian Agencies to escape from being hunted by Dawood Ibrahim's gang out to eliminate him. He says he was hunted because he was tipping off the Indian Intel on the Mumbai Serial blasts 1993 perpetrators.
The arrest of Chotta Rajan (Nov 2015)and his deportation has thrown out many questions. First it looks like a meek surrender in other words (entered a plea bargain with the GOI) though that's against the Indian Law.
Official version however was he was arrested after a tip off from the Australian DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) that he is in Bali.. however unofficial version is that Chotta Shakeel got info from Pak embassy in Australia and sent hit-men to eliminate Rajan. However Indian Intel got wind of it and tipped of Rajan who fled Australia in a Speed boat to Indonesia .
This was not the first time Rajan got tipped off.. Even after he was shot by Shakeel gang in Thailand was in the hospital and Indian Police was there to bring him back.. he was helped by Thailand Military to take him to the border and fly out to Cambodia.. Here again Indian Intel co-ordinated with Thai Military... possible reason Mumbai police may have been compromised by Dawood Gang.
Even before Rajan reached Indonesia a Senior MI along with Minister of State in the GOI were in Indonesia.. After Sanitizing Rajan.. assessing various Info (Intel) Actionable Intel GOI has decided that Rajan will be Lodged in High Security Prison and MHA directed Mumbai Police to transfer all the case pertaining to Rajan be transferred to CBI.. This once again reiterates the point that Mumbai police is still being infiltrated by Dawood this was also the claim of Rajan.
What Intel Actionable Intel will Rajan provide to our Agency remains to be seen.. Neutralize Terrorist through Terrorist quoted by Manohar Parrikar would be the likely scenario.. He's still an Asset to the Indian Intel Agencies but lets not patronize him as a Patriotic one though he did help eliminate many ISI moles and assets

Four Member's of Chotta Rajan Assets were given extensive training on all Arms & explosives with a Getaway plan were in Karachi ( All detailed sketch of Dawood house, his Movements and timings obtained from Indian Assets) were provided. As mentioned above the Govt for unknown reasons did not approve.
2. R&AW knew the travel Plans of Dawood flying out to Jeddah/singapore (discrepancy on destination between the two). Idea was once his Chartered flight was out of the PAK Airspace it would be forced landed in Dubai escorted by our Mig fighters.. here again the then Congress denied approval.

Pakistan Army Establishment has to work Overdrive in enhancing the security Cover of Dawood.. Three layer Special Commando's trained for counter assault has been provided to him . His Safe houses in Karachi and Islamabad has been compromised as per Pakistan Intelligence. Unofficial report says he has been moved to the SWAT region at an undisclosed location.. Pakistan fears that the Information from Chotta Rajan may tempt India to go for Covert Black Ops.. this wasn't the first time such Ops is planned to take him out..

Pakistan Intelligence claims to have Intercepted encrypted message on a possible Black Ops.The Intercepted message however specifies only as that of foreign Nation planning to take out Dawood and Hafeez Sayeed . Other than Indian Agencies.. Mossads are also the suspects of Pakistan.
No Wonder Pakistan Army not only enhancing Dawood Security but also banned all TV Channels in covering any news on him.
